Revenue Velocity Blueprint
Make revenue constraints visible. Prioritise what matters. Improve the right things.
You know where revenue performance is falling short. The harder question is why.

The Revenue Velocity Blueprint gives you an evidence-based view of how your revenue system works in practice, identifies the constraints limiting performance and shows you where intervention is most likely to make a commercial difference.

The Problem.

You can see the symptoms. Can you see what’s causing them?

Pipeline slips. Forecasts move. Productivity stalls. New hires take too long to ramp. AI adoption disappoints. Execution varies from team to team.

These problems are visible. Their causes often aren't.

What looks like a capability problem could be management. What looks like a forecasting problem could be qualification. What looks like an AI problem could be workflow, data or adoption.

Where the symptom appears is not necessarily where the constraint sits.

And when organisations mistake the symptom for the cause, they risk investing in the right solution for the wrong problem.

More training. Another technology. A new process. Another AI initiative.

All potentially useful. None automatically the answer.

Revenue
Performance
Systems
Revenue isn't created by one team, process or technology.

It emerges from a connected system. The Revenue Velocity Blueprint looks across seven areas:

  • Capability — Can people perform what is expected of them?
  • Management — Are managers creating clarity, coaching, inspection and accountability?
  • Process — Is there a clear and usable route from opportunity to revenue?
  • Workflow — Does work move efficiently, or is friction consuming capacity?
  • Technology — Do systems enable the work or make it harder?
  • Data — Is information trusted, accessible and useful for decisions?
  • AI — Are the right use cases governed, adopted and integrated into the work?
We examine how these areas interact, rather than assessing them as isolated functions. Crucially, we look at both capability, whether people can perform, and capacity, whether their environment allows them to perform consistently.

Start with a Revenue Performance Assessment

01. Understand.

What are we dealing with, and what would success look like?

We start with a Revenue Performance Assessment. We establish the commercial outcome you need to improve, the symptoms you can see, what stakeholders currently believe, the maturity and complexity of the revenue environment and how success should be measured.

This creates a shared understanding of the challenge and determines the right scope for the Blueprint. It deliberately does not jump ahead and diagnose the constraint.

02. Diagnose.

What is constraining performance, and what should we prioritise?

This is the Revenue Velocity Blueprint itself.

We examine how your revenue system operates in practice, using stakeholder input and available evidence to test assumptions, assess capability and capacity and identify evidence-supported constraints.

We then assess their commercial significance and prioritise where intervention is most likely to create value.

03. Improve.

What should we change first?

Once the priorities are clear, the intervention follows.

It could involve enablement, management and coaching, process redesign, workflow optimisation, Revenue Operations, technology, analytics or AI. In many cases, the answer will combine several levers.

Each intervention is connected to the constraint it is addressing and the measures of success established at the beginning.

The Methodology.

Understand. Diagnose. Improve.

What You Get

Not another report. A better basis for action.

  • Revenue System Map — how the elements of your revenue system interact.
  • Current State Analysis — strengths, risks, friction and performance gaps.
  • Capability & Capacity Assessment — whether people can perform and whether their environment enables them to.
  • Constraint Prioritisation — the evidence-supported constraints creating the greatest commercial drag.
  • Commercial Impact Analysis — where intervention is likely to create the greatest business value.
  • 30–60–90 Day Intervention Roadmap — priorities connected to actions, owners and measures.
  • Interactive Executive Blueprint — a leadership view of the evidence, priorities and next steps.
  • Clarity on what matters. Confidence in what comes next.
